Imagine a scenario where railway workers are unable to inspect the tracks, and a break occurs. This was the concern of a rural woman from Uttar Pradesh who, upon spotting a broken track, acted swiftly to avert a potential disaster, saving countless passengers. Her quick thinking has garnered widespread praise on social media.

The Train Comes to a Halt

Omvati's clever signaling with the red cloth and her sari caught the attention of the train's locomotive pilot. Acting quickly, he applied the emergency brakes, bringing the train to a stop just short of the broken track.

Once the train halted and the driver disembarked, Omvati pointed out the damaged track. The pilot was astonished and immediately notified the authorities. Within half an hour, the track was repaired, allowing the train to continue its journey.
