Bomb Threats Prompt Evacuations at Delhi Schools

Bomb Threats Lead to School Evacuations in Delhi
Authorities in Delhi reported that two private schools received bomb threats, prompting immediate evacuations for safety and thorough investigations. This incident marks the third consecutive day that educational institutions in the national capital have faced such threats. In the previous two days, bomb threats at schools were determined to be hoaxes.
According to officials, St. Thomas School in Dwarka received a threatening email at 5:26 AM, while Vasant Valley School was targeted with a similar threat at 6:30 AM.
Notably, St. Thomas School has now received bomb threats twice within a 24-hour period. Staff members who had stayed overnight at these schools were promptly relocated to secure locations as a precaution.
The Delhi police, along with bomb disposal squads, canine units, and cyber experts, arrived at the schools to conduct extensive searches, but so far, nothing suspicious has been discovered.
