Panic Erupts in Mumbai Following Bomb Threats

Several areas in Mumbai experienced heightened tension after two prominent schools received bomb threat emails, prompting immediate police action. Reports indicate that Kanakia International School in Deonar and Ryan International School in Samta Nagar were targeted with alarming messages that not only threatened the institutions but also warned of bomb explosions across various parts of Mumbai. Following the alerts, police teams swiftly arrived at both locations, conducted thorough searches, and intensified security measures. However, no suspicious items have been discovered during the investigation so far.

An FIR has been filed against an unidentified individual under relevant sections, and the cyber cell has been engaged to trace the origin of the emails. This latest threat comes just days after a similar warning was received by the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai's BKC area. Officials noted that earlier in the day, a bomb threat was reported at a private school in Jaipur, leading to extensive searches. The threat was emailed to Palace School, which was founded by Diya Kumari, the Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and a member of the former royal family of Jaipur. Bomb disposal units and dog squads promptly arrived to conduct a detailed investigation at the school premises.
