Ghaziabad: A disturbing incident unfolded on Tuesday when the body of a woman was discovered inside a suitcase along the canal road near Hajipur in Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Authorities were alerted around 7 am, prompting a police team to rush to the scene. The body, which is believed to belong to a woman approximately 26 years old, has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Upon inspection, the suitcase revealed the victim's legs crossed and her head positioned awkwardly in one corner, with visible blood beneath her nose.
Investigation Underway
Law enforcement officials have stated that the woman's identity remains unknown, but evidence suggests she may have been married, as toe rings were found on her feet. Additionally, injuries were noted on her forehead and back, indicating foul play.
Related Incident in Delhi
In a separate case from Delhi on June 8, a tragic incident involved the alleged murder of a 9-year-old girl after she was reportedly raped. Her body was also discovered in a suitcase. The horrifying event came to light when a local child informed adults that the girl had been seen heading towards a nearby apartment.
Concerned residents forced entry into the locked home, where they found the girl's body in a state of undress. It was reported that she had been missing for approximately three hours. Following the grim discovery, locals transported her to a nursing home.
An FIR has been lodged, and a manhunt is currently in progress to apprehend those responsible for this heinous act.
