Discovery of the Body

On Wednesday, the body of an unidentified woman was found inside a bag close to the Vijaya Durga Associations Colony, which falls under the Bachupally Police Station in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district. Residents reported a strong odor, prompting police intervention. Upon their arrival, authorities initiated a case and formed special investigative teams to delve into the matter.


Details from the Investigation

Police officials stated, "On June 4, following reports, the Bachupally police team arrived at the Vijay Durga Owners Association Colony near Reddy's Lab. A foul smell was emanating from a bag, and upon inspection, the body of a woman, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old and dressed in a maroon outfit, was discovered."


Ongoing Investigation

The investigation is being conducted under the guidance of DCP Balanagar Zone, K. Suresh Kumar (IPS), and is currently ongoing.


Separate Incident of Violence

In an unrelated event, a man lost his life during a brawl at a bar in the Medchal-Malkajgiri district on May 26. The altercation occurred around 10:30 PM at the 'Good Day Bar' located in the Uppal police jurisdiction.


According to police reports, "At approximately 10:30 PM, patrons at Good Day Bar engaged in a dispute with individuals at a nearby table. During the confrontation, a man named Srivan Kumar struck Pawan Kumar with a beer bottle, resulting in Pawan's immediate death."
