Circumstances of the Incident

A police officer on routine patrol stumbled upon the body of Mukesh lying next to the public restroom. He was transported to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital around 11 PM on Wednesday, where medical staff pronounced him dead.

Criminal Background

Authorities revealed that Mukesh had a notorious criminal history and was registered as a history-sheeter at the Kalyan Puri police station, with several criminal cases already filed against him.

Investigation Details

A senior police official indicated that the wounds on the deceased suggest he was attacked with a sharp weapon. The exact cause of death will be determined following the post-mortem examination. Additionally, it was noted that there were no CCTV cameras installed at or near the crime scene.
