Blanka Vlasic, a double Olympic medalist and two-time World Champion, has been appointed as the International Event Ambassador for the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru 2026. This prestigious race is set to take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, and is recognized as a World Athletics Gold Label Race, organized by Procam International.
A Legacy of Excellence in High Jump
Regarded as one of the greatest high jumpers in history, Vlasic boasts a remarkable career characterized by longevity and success. The Croatian athlete secured an Olympic silver medal in Beijing 2008 and a bronze in Rio 2016, in addition to numerous World Championship and World Indoor titles. Her personal best of 2.08 meters, achieved in 2009, not only stands as the Croatian national record but also ranks as the third-highest jump in women's high jump history.
