BJP's Vision for Kerala
On Thursday, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the BJP president and candidate for the Nimom Assembly in Kerala, expressed his disinterest in the manifesto released by the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF). He pointed out that political parties have been making promises for the past 70 years without fulfilling them. Chandrasekhar emphasized that the BJP offers a clear vision for the necessary changes in Kerala.

Responding to the UDF manifesto released on the same day, Chandrasekhar stated that he is not interested in commenting on the manifestos of parties that have made promises for 70 years but have never delivered. He asserted that it is meaningless. He further stated that the BJP is presenting a comprehensive and solid approach for a developing Kerala, claiming that this is the change the people desire. He cited the achievements of Narendra Modi over the past 12 years as a model for what they aim to bring to Kerala, intending to transform its direction and development. He questioned the relevance of the LDF's statements in this context.
Addressing the Left Democratic Front (LDF), Chandrasekhar recalled that a decade ago, the LDF had assured that 'everything would be fine.' Today, he noted, the state faces extreme unemployment and inflation, with four out of ten graduates being unemployed and migrating elsewhere. He questioned the credibility of the Congress and CPM in releasing manifestos at this time, highlighting their failure to keep promises in Karnataka, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and across India from 2004 to 2014. He accused them of exploiting people's vulnerabilities and misleading them through their manifestos.
