BJP's Strong Words Against Rahul Gandhi

On Wednesday, BJP's national spokesperson Guru Prakash launched a fierce critique of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, labeling him as a prime example of separatism in Indian politics. Speaking at a press conference held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, he accused the Congress and opposition leaders of frequently resorting to regionalism, casteism, and linguistic extremism for political gain, which he believes poses a threat to national unity, peace, and stability.

Guru Prakash further claimed that Rahul Gandhi's political stance shifts from state to state, depending on where he perceives electoral advantages. He pointed out that Gandhi's history shows a pattern of inciting communal tensions when visiting Bihar, while in Tamil Nadu, he engages in negative politics under the guise of Tamil identity. "Rahul Gandhi, you have no right to claim that we suppress Tamil voices," he asserted.

He emphasized that the Modi government has consistently recognized and promoted Tamil culture, language, and identity as integral to India's civilizational ethos. According to him, the sensitivity shown by Prime Minister Modi towards Tamil language and culture over the past eleven years is unprecedented. He added that the BJP-led government has demonstrated ongoing respect for Tamil identity, both within India and on global platforms.

In response to Rahul Gandhi's recent comments regarding Tamil issues, Guru Prakash questioned, "Will Rahul Gandhi issue us a certificate? You are not an authority to certify our commitment to Tamil issues and the eternal Tamil civilizational heritage."
