BJP Spokesperson Criticizes Rahul Gandhi's Comments on Modi and RSS

In a recent statement, BJP spokesperson Sanjay Sharma condemned Rahul Gandhi's accusations against Prime Minister Modi and the RSS, labeling them as 'traitors.' He argued that such comments reflect Gandhi's political frustration and lack of credibility. Sharma referenced historical defense failures, including the 1948 Jeep Scam, to emphasize the Congress party's questionable legacy regarding national security. He contrasted this with the current government's self-reliant defense policies under Modi's leadership. Sharma concluded by demanding an unconditional apology from Gandhi for his remarks, asserting that they are disgraceful and unfounded.

Sanjay Sharma, the spokesperson for the BJP in the state, has expressed strong disapproval of the recent statements made by Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition, during a Lok Sabha session. Gandhi labeled Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as 'traitors.' Sharma argued that such remarks reveal Gandhi's significant political frustration and a state of 'mental bankruptcy.'

He emphasized that the RSS has consistently been at the forefront during national emergencies, including wars and natural disasters, and criticized the Congress party for its historical compromises on national security, claiming they lack the moral authority to question the patriotism of the RSS.

Sharma brought up the infamous 1948 Jeep Scam, stating that while Indian troops were engaged in combat against Pakistan shortly after independence, the Nehru administration awarded a questionable jeep contract to a foreign company without proper bank guarantees. He noted that many vehicles either failed to arrive or were unsuitable for military use, calling it a betrayal of the soldiers.

He pointed out that V.K. Krishna Menon, the main figure implicated in the scandal, was instead rewarded with a Cabinet position and later appointed as Defence Minister. Sharma criticized Menon's policies, which he claimed contributed to India's defeat in the 1962 war with China, where soldiers were inadequately equipped.

In contrast, Sharma praised the current defense strategies under Prime Minister Modi, asserting that they are now self-sufficient and effective, with the military well-equipped and the nation's borders secure.

He concluded by demanding that Rahul Gandhi issue an unconditional apology to the citizens of India, the Prime Minister, and the RSS for his 'disgraceful' remarks.
