BJP Restructures Uttar Pradesh Team Ahead of Upcoming Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made significant changes to its Uttar Pradesh state organization team, led by Pankaj Chaudhary, in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections. This restructuring aims to strengthen grassroots networks and enhance electoral readiness. The new team includes notable figures such as Neeraj Singh and several former ministers as vice presidents. Additionally, six regional presidents have been appointed to oversee organizational efforts across the state. This strategic move reflects the party's focus on both the assembly elections and future Lok Sabha contests.

BJP Announces New State Organization Team in Uttar Pradesh

In a significant organizational shift ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its new state organization team under the leadership of Pankaj Chaudhary. This decision followed several crucial meetings held in Delhi and Lucknow, where discussions focused on strengthening the party's organizational framework within the state. The names announced have received approval from the BJP's top leadership.


 


The newly formed state organization team reflects the party's strategy to enhance grassroots networking and improve electoral preparations before the important assembly elections. According to the list released by the Uttar Pradesh BJP, the new team comprises 19 vice presidents and eight general secretaries. Notable appointments include Neeraj Singh, son of Union Minister Rajnath Singh, who has been appointed as the state vice president. Former ministers Suresh Rana, Archana Mishra, and Pooja Pal have also been designated as vice presidents.


 


This organizational change comes at a time when the BJP is gearing up for the crucial assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, while also focusing on the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. Sanjay Rai has been reappointed as the state general secretary, with BJP MLA Rajesh Chaudhary also taking on the same role. Rohit Mishra has been named the president of the party's youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). As part of a broader effort to strengthen the organization across various regions and social groups, the BJP has also appointed Abhijat Mishra, Shankar Lodhi, and Dilip Patel as state general secretaries.


 


Additionally, the party has announced the names of six regional presidents to oversee organizational activities in different parts of the state. Vinod Rai has been appointed as the regional president for Gorakhpur, Awdhesh Dwivedi for the Awadh region, and Ashok Chaurasia for Kashi. Ramkishore Sahu will lead the Kanpur region, Nawab Singh Nagar has been assigned the responsibility for western Uttar Pradesh, while Puran Lodhi has been appointed as the regional president for Braj.
