Allegations Against Congress Leadership

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused the Congress-led UPA government on Friday of undermining India's national security. He stated that between 2005 and 2008, the government's foreign policy allowed repeated negotiations with Pakistan over sensitive areas like Kashmir, Sir Creek, and Siachen, ultimately rendering India a vulnerable and powerless nation, resulting in the loss of Indian lives.

Mumbai Attack and Diplomatic Decisions

Dubey took to social media to remind that Pakistan launched an attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, which resulted in 180 fatalities and over 300 injuries. He questioned whether Prime Minister Manmohan Singh initiated talks under American pressure without retaliating against Pakistan. He also inquired about the foreign minister's meeting in January 2009 following the Mumbai attacks and whether a meeting with Pakistan's President Zardari took place in Russia in June 2009, facilitated by a third country. Furthermore, he highlighted a controversial agreement made in July 2009 with Pakistan's Prime Minister at Sharm el-Sheikh under U.S. pressure.

Continued Threats and Political Accountability

Dubey emphasized that from 1989 to 2008, the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan decided five times to exchange discussions on Kashmir, Sir Creek, and Siachen. He accused Congress of consistently portraying India as a weak and helpless nation, leading to the deaths of many Indians. He recalled the 2011 Mumbai blasts, which claimed 26 lives and injured 200 others. Dubey asserted that Prime Minister Modi's Operation Sindoor has restored India's dignity, while Pakistan is now on the defensive. He concluded by stating that Congress is entirely aligned with terrorist Pakistan, disregarding the public's concerns.
