Political Tensions Rise After Protest

A day after clashes between police and Rahul Gandhi's march towards the Prime Minister's residence, the BJP intensified its political attack on the Congress leader. The party accused Gandhi of undermining the dignity of the Prime Minister's residence and announced plans for nationwide protests against Congress. They labeled the 'March to PM's Residence' as irresponsible and highly condemnable.

Violence Erupts During Protests

In response to the Congress protests outside the LKM in Delhi, BJP workers staged demonstrations outside the Congress office in Patna. This led to violent confrontations between BJP and Congress activists, resulting in injuries and damaged vehicles. Tensions escalated in Hyderabad as both parties held protests, with TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud calling for a blockade of Lok Bhawan against the NEET question paper leak and the arrest of Rahul Gandhi. Meanwhile, BJP leaders condemned the Congress protests outside the Prime Minister's residence and called for a blockade of Gandhi Bhawan.

Heavy Police Presence Amid Protests

In light of the protests, police deployed significant security forces. BJP leaders arriving at the party's state office in Nampally were halted, while Congress leaders and activists heading towards Lok Bhawan were stopped at Khairatabad Circle. Senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad led the charge, questioning Gandhi during a press conference in New Delhi and referencing his political lineage.

BJP Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Misusing His Position

On Wednesday, the BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of misusing his constitutional privileges by protesting outside the Prime Minister's residence. They claimed that the Congress leader aims to gain power by dividing the nation. The BJP also alleged that Gandhi colludes with anti-national elements and described his protests as aimless and juvenile. Gandhi, along with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other leaders, had staged a sit-in outside the Prime Minister's residence, demanding Modi's resignation over police actions against protesting students regarding the NEET exam.

Opposition Leaders Detained

Later, police detained Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, and other opposition leaders. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused the Gandhi family of colluding with anti-national elements and called for an investigation into Rahul Gandhi's foreign trips. He urged the government to uncover whom Gandhi met abroad, including officials from Islamic countries and Chinese authorities, and whether he received funding from the Soros Foundation.
