BJP's Response to the INDIA Alliance Gathering

The recent meeting of the INDIA alliance in Delhi has drawn sharp criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). BJP MP Sambit Patra remarked that the gathering was not a legitimate meeting but rather a theatrical performance by the alliance members. He predicted that they would lose elections every three months, leading to meetings every other month. Patra also pointed out that Rahul Gandhi has achieved a 'century' of election losses, yet he appeared to celebrate as if he had conquered a significant fortress.

Patra noted that the meeting took place at the Constitution Club of India. Following this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed the media, claiming that there had been electoral fraud. However, Patra questioned the consistency of their complaints, pointing out that similar issues had occurred in Tamil Nadu and Kerala without complaints when those states formed governments. He criticized the alliance for blaming electoral fraud only after their defeat in Bengal.

He emphasized that the public is witnessing the height of this hypocrisy. If any theft occurred, it was the existence of the INDIA alliance itself that was at stake, as none of its parties have a real presence on the ground. Patra highlighted their demand for an all-party meeting, recalling that during a previous meeting on women's empowerment, none of these political parties attended, yet they now call for such meetings while being completely inactive in the eyes of the public.

Patra further commented on the evolution of these gatherings, stating that they used to be held in stadiums where attendees would stand together, but now they have dwindled to small rooms at the Constitution Club, unable to fill stadiums. He noted that after forming a government in Tamil Nadu, the Congress party is now accusing others of fraud following their loss in Bengal. He asserted that the entire nation is witnessing this blatant hypocrisy and that these political parties lack any genuine grassroots presence, leading to their electoral defeats.

He also mentioned that Akhilesh Yadav was present, and it might have crossed his mind that he could face a similar fate. Patra concluded by predicting that the INDIA alliance's meetings would continue every two months, suggesting that by the third or fourth meeting, they might only be able to convene inside a car.
