BJP's Response to Rahul Gandhi's Rally

Sudhanshu Trivedi, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has expressed strong disapproval of Rahul Gandhi's upcoming 'Echo of Students' rally in Kota, Rajasthan. During a press conference in Delhi on Wednesday, Trivedi accused Gandhi of attempting to disrupt the political landscape for his own agenda. He criticized the timing of the rally, which is set to occur just days before the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on June 21, stating that while the government is showing sensitivity, the Congress party and Gandhi are acting with cunning instead.

Trivedi raised a pertinent question, asking why Gandhi would choose to hold such an event just 72 hours before the exam, a crucial time when candidates should be focusing on their final preparations. He emphasized that political opportunities will still exist after the 21st, suggesting that Gandhi's actions are merely a ploy to fulfill his political ambitions at the expense of students' mental well-being.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi called on students and youth across the nation to participate in the 'Echo of Students' mega rally in Kota on June 17. He stressed that the future of the youth will determine the future of the country. In a post on X, he held the government accountable for issues such as paper leaks, mismanagement of exams, canceled recruitments, rising fees, privatization, and various scandals, claiming these factors are shattering the dreams of millions of young Indians.

Gandhi also accused the central government of neglecting its responsibilities towards the youth. He urged his fellow young people and Gen Z to recognize that ensuring a secure future for every young Indian is the government's duty. However, he lamented that responsibility and integrity seem to be beyond the Modi government's comprehension.
