BJP's Strong Accusations Against Congress

On Friday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a fierce attack on the Congress party, accusing its leaders of demoralizing the armed forces and undermining India's position following recent conflicts with Pakistan. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra sharply criticized Congress figures such as Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, claiming they have repeatedly questioned India's losses in military engagements while remaining silent on the damages suffered by Pakistan.

Congress's Alleged Hypocrisy

Patra stated that the Congress party initially claimed to stand with the nation, yet they have not supported India even for a single day. From the outset, Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, and their associates have cast doubt on the valor of the Indian army, suggesting that the 'evidence gang' is not satisfied. He pointed out that Ramesh's comments equated the presence of terrorists with that of parliamentarians, questioning the logic behind such comparisons. He emphasized that the MPs were not on a leisure trip but were representing India's stance on the global stage, which includes members from Congress as well.

Internal Divisions Within Congress

The BJP leader further noted that it is becoming increasingly evident that there are internal divisions within the Congress party. One faction appears more aligned with Pakistan's narrative, while those wishing to support India are hindered by Rahul Gandhi's leadership. Ironically, the Congress's 'Jai Hind Yatra' seems to resemble a 'Jai Pakistan Yatra.' Patra accused the opposition party of demanding details about the number of Indian aircraft lost more frequently than they mention Pakistan.

Comparisons and Criticism

Patra likened Congress leaders to Pakistan's 'Baba' while referring to them as 'Gabbar,' a nod to the infamous villain from the classic film Sholay, who is destined to be defeated by the heroes. He also expressed strong disapproval of Ramesh's remarks that allegedly compared Indian MPs traveling abroad as part of a multi-party delegation to terrorists. Patra clarified that these Congress MPs were part of a delegation visiting global capitals to present India's position following the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the subsequent response.
