Sanjay Sharma, the spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state, has launched a fierce critique of the Congress party following its recent demonstration at Jantar Mantar. He accused Congress of attempting to regain its waning political influence, asserting that such efforts will not resonate with the public.

Sharma emphasized that no matter how many political performances Congress puts on, the citizens of India and Himachal Pradesh are fully aware of its troubling history and anti-national actions. He remarked, “Congress will not discover the revival it seeks through these theatrics.”

He further blamed Congress for issues like paper leaks and corruption within the education sector, stating, “Had Congress implemented decisive actions during its governance, today’s youth would not be in such dire situations. For years, Congress has jeopardized the future and aspirations of young individuals.”

Sharma noted that the youth have now seen through Congress's facade and will not fall for its empty promises. “In a democracy, the ultimate authority lies with the people and the youth. Congress cannot reclaim its former status through opposition tactics, its legacy of scandals, and misleading propaganda. Today’s youth are firmly aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which prioritizes transparency and a promising future,” he asserted.

He concluded by stating that waving flags and making unfounded claims at Jantar Mantar will not restore Congress's standing. “The public and youth have grasped the truth behind their assertions. Congress’s history is marked by betrayal of public trust and the stifling of youth aspirations, which has led to its decline. The people's choice is evident—they favor development, transparency, and politics that serve the national interest over forces that seek to pull the country backward,” Sharma stated.
