Disciplinary Measures by BJD Leadership

The President of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Naveen Patnaik, has taken decisive action by suspending two prominent leaders on Friday due to allegations of 'anti-party activities.' This move sends a clear message to party members about the importance of maintaining discipline and unity.

The suspended individuals include Nalini Prabha Jena, the chairperson of the district council in Jajpur, and Ganeshwar Baral, the vice president of the Jajpur district unit of the party. This decision follows the suspension of two legislators, Arvind Mohapatra from Patkura in Kendrapara district and Sanatan Mahakud from Champua in Keonjhar district, for similar reasons just a day prior.

This disciplinary action comes after Patnaik held three rounds of meetings with party legislators starting January 12, during which he has met with a total of 29 MLAs so far.
