Bikaner. On Monday, Additional District Collector (Administration) Mr. Ummed Singh Ratnu convened a meeting with district-level officials at the Collectorate auditorium to conduct a thorough review of the state budget announcements and the cases registered on the contact portal. He emphasized that various departments should prioritize the effective and timely implementation of budget announcements, ensuring that they align with the set targets.
During the meeting, the ADM highlighted the directives from the district in-charge secretary, urging all relevant departments to establish clear work targets for the next three months and to ensure regular progress in line with those targets. He stressed that any unnecessary delays in tasks related to budget announcements would not be tolerated. Particularly, he called for the swift resolution of land acquisition matters to prevent any hindrance to development projects.
He instructed officials to collaborate across departments and maintain regular communication to address issues promptly, especially for projects requiring multi-departmental cooperation. Each department was also directed to continuously review pending tasks to accelerate progress.
While reviewing the contact portal, Mr. Ratnu stated that district-level officials should personally monitor the resolution of public complaints to ensure quick, quality, and satisfactory outcomes. He advised officials to engage directly with complainants, noting that personal conversations can clarify the actual situation of the issues and enhance the satisfaction level of the complainants. He insisted on timely and sensitive handling of complaints registered on the contact portal.
The meeting was attended by district-level officials from various departments, including Medical, Transport, Archaeology, RUIDP, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Groundwater Department, Rajasthani Language Academy, Supply Department, Electricity Department, and Public Works Department (PWD).
