Bihar's New Initiative for Industrial Growth

On Wednesday, the Department of Industries held a press conference to announce the newly approved Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025. The event was chaired by Industry Minister Nitish Mishra. During the conference, Additional Chief Secretary Mihir Kumar Singh provided an in-depth presentation on the policy framework and investment incentives. He elaborated on key features of the package, including free land allocation, financial incentives, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the business environment. Singh emphasized that this package is designed to position Bihar as an attractive destination for investors and to accelerate industrial development.


 


Minister Nitish Mishra praised the BIPP-2025, stating, "This package marks a historic step for industrial development in Bihar. It will not only attract investments but also create new job opportunities for the youth of the state. This initiative will play a crucial role in establishing Bihar as a leader in the industrial sector. Our aim is for Bihar to emerge as an industrial powerhouse, not just in India but on a global scale. Through this policy, we are committed to providing every possible support to investors to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Bihar."


 


At the conclusion of the session, officials addressed questions and highlighted plans to transform Bihar's industrial landscape through free land, unique financial incentives, and a robust business environment via BIPP-2025. It is noteworthy that the government has implemented the new Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package (BIPP) - 2025 following the Biada Amnesty Policy 2025 to encourage industries in the state. Senior officials present included Additional Chief Secretary Mihir Kumar Singh, Director of Industries Mukul Kumar Gupta, Technical Development Director Shekhar Anand, and other senior officials.
