Bihar Teacher Khan Sir's Bail Hearing Delayed Until Monday
Delay in Khan Sir's Bail Decision
The decision regarding the anticipatory bail plea of Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, has been postponed until Monday. This delay is due to the district and sessions judge being on leave, which prevented the ruling from being announced on Friday. Previously, the court had reserved its judgment after hearing the final arguments from both parties on Wednesday.
Background of the Case
This case is linked to a shooting incident that occurred in early June in Patna. It is alleged that some miscreants vandalized Khan Sir's coaching institute, leading to his security personnel reportedly opening fire.
Legal Representation and Interim Protection
Arvind Kumar Mowar, Khan Sir's lawyer, stated that the ruling could not be delivered on Friday due to the judge's absence, and it is now expected on Monday. He clarified that until the court's decision is made, interim protection will remain in place, preventing any punitive actions against Khan Sir.
Additional Bail Applications
It is noteworthy that the court also reserved its decision on the regular bail applications of Khan Sir's two security guards and anticipatory bail pleas from three other employees of the coaching institute on Wednesday.
