Bihar Makes Cricket History with Record-Breaking Score

In a remarkable achievement, Bihar has etched its name in cricket history by posting the highest team total ever recorded in List A cricket. During their Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025-26 Plate League match against Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, Bihar scored an astonishing 574 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs. This score eclipsed the previous record of 506 runs for 2 wickets set by Tamil Nadu against Arunachal Pradesh in Bengaluru back in 2022.

Moreover, Bihar has now become the first team to surpass the 550-run mark in List A cricket. They are only the second team, following Tamil Nadu, to achieve a total of 500 runs in this format, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
