Investigation into Shooting Incident

Patna: The Bihar Police is currently working to confirm the background of a man from Begusarai who was detained in Rajasthan for allegedly shooting at actor Tiger Shroff. This follows a situation where an elderly couple claimed that the suspect was not their son.

Last Sunday, three individuals, including a minor, were arrested on a train at Kota station in Rajasthan after allegedly firing at Shroff in Mumbai. The Kota Police identified two of the suspects: 22-year-old Ritik alias Roshan from Begusarai and Rehan from Sonipat, Haryana.

According to the Mumbai Police, which has taken custody of the suspects, Ritik is from Dumri village, located under the Singhaula police station in northern Bihar.

Police investigations revealed that Ram Babu Mahto, who operates a grocery store, is Ritik's father. Begusarai Superintendent of Police (SP) Maneesh noted that Ritik had been employed at a food catering service in Delhi before moving to Mumbai three months ago.

However, Mahto's wife expressed to local media that the image shown to her by the police did not depict her son. She stated, "I want the police to take action against the guilty. But the photograph is not of my son. I have urged police to verify the identity of the person in the image and also locate my son, with whom we have lost contact for some time."

The SP confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to verify the identity of the Begusarai man involved in the Tiger Shroff shooting, based on information from the couple and the Mumbai police.

The shooting incident, which occurred on a busy Sunday evening in Mumbai's affluent Juhu area, was recorded on video, showing gunfire directed at Shroff's vehicle. Fortunately, the 36-year-old actor, son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff, escaped with minor injuries, although his driver and a bystander were hurt.

An audio clip has surfaced featuring Anil Pandit, a 32-year-old gangster based in the US and purportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the clip, he claims that the attack on Tiger Shroff was a consequence of the actor disregarding warnings not to collaborate with superstar Salman Khan.

Pandit demands an apology from Salman Khan to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the community, referencing an incident from 1998 when Khan was involved in the shooting of a blackbuck, an animal sacred to the Bishnoi community.
