Significant Drug Bust in Bhojpur District

On Friday, the Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar Police apprehended two individuals suspected of drug trafficking in Bhojpur district, seizing over two kilograms of heroin from their possession.


Kundan Krishnan, the Additional Director General of Police (STF), informed a news agency that this marks the third significant drug seizure in the state by the newly formed anti-narcotics unit within the past month.


The arrests were made based on confidential information, with the STF collaborating with Bhojpur police to detain the suspects near the Zero Mile area of Ara. The estimated street value of the confiscated heroin is approximately one crore rupees.


Authorities also recovered 127,000 rupees in cash and two mobile phones from the suspects. A case has been registered against the two arrested individuals and 15 others involved.
