Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha Responds to Tejashwi Yadav's Allegations
Vijay Kumar Sinha's Counter to Tejashwi Yadav
In response to remarks made by Tejashwi Yadav, a leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has fired back. He stated that Yadav seems to have run out of issues to discuss and has become devoid of any substantial topics. Sinha criticized Yadav for allegedly undermining the dignity of his constitutional position by spreading falsehoods and confusion. He mentioned receiving a notice from the Election Commission and claimed that after he responded, his EPIC number was deactivated. Sinha questioned why Yadav has not provided a response to these allegations.
Sinha Questions Yadav's Accusations
Sinha further challenged Yadav's claims, asking how the younger brother had become the elder brother in this political scenario. He emphasized that if accusations are made, there should be the strength to respond as well. The Election Commission had issued a notice to Sinha regarding allegations of holding two voter ID cards and being registered in two different locations. Addressing the media, Sinha asserted, 'I respect the Constitution and all constitutional institutions. I am not like Rahul Gandhi or Tejashwi Yadav.'
Tejashwi Yadav's Claims Against Sinha
Tejashwi Yadav accused Deputy CM Sinha of possessing two voter ID cards and questioned what actions have been taken against him. Yadav informed reporters that Sinha is registered as a voter in two different assembly constituencies across separate districts. He pointed out that Sinha's name appears in the voter lists of both the Lakhisarai assembly constituency and the Bankipur assembly constituency in Patna. Yadav expressed astonishment that this situation arose after a special intensive review by the Bihar Election Commission. He demanded accountability, asking whether Sinha or the Election Commission should be held responsible and when Sinha would resign from his position following these revelations.
