In this context, Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh, commonly known as Lalan Singh, has arrived in Patna from Delhi. Other JD(U) leaders are currently convening at Nitish Kumar's residence on Circular Road, where they are expected to finalize the list of ministers. Amid these developments, the party is likely to announce the names of the new JD(U) ministers later today. Nishant is currently on a public relations tour across Bihar, and Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has previously stated that he would be pleased to see Nishant join the cabinet.

Initially, Nishant had declined to join the government and had distanced himself from active politics for an extended period. However, according to reports, discussions with senior JD(U) leaders and close associates late Tuesday night led to an understanding that his entry into the government could be crucial for both the party and the state. After extensive discussions during the meeting, Nishant agreed to take on a role in the state cabinet.

Currently, Nishant Kumar is engaged in a goodwill tour across Bihar, visiting various districts to interact with the public, listen to their grievances, and gather feedback on the developmental initiatives undertaken during Nitish Kumar's tenure. Political analysts believe that this outreach campaign could pave the way for a significant political role for him in the future.
