World Environment Day Celebrations at Paras Public School

Paras Public School in Bhawarna celebrated World Environment Day through a variety of creative and educational activities designed to foster a sense of environmental responsibility among students. The event was attended by School Director Shri Mahesh Chandra Katoch, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana, and Shri Dishant Katoch.


As part of the initiative titled “One Student – One Plant”, students committed to planting saplings and caring for them. Teacher Meena delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of maintaining a clean and green environment, encouraging everyone to take action to protect nature.


Students from Nursery to Class III showcased their talents through short plays and dances featuring tree-shaped models, promoting the messages “Save Nature: Save Life” and “Save Trees: Save Environment.” Meanwhile, students in Classes IV to VIII participated in creating charts, posters, and slogans aimed at encouraging environmental stewardship.


For the senior students in Classes IX to XII, a speech competition focused on “Nature Conservation” was held, where participants discussed topics like water conservation, achieving a plastic-free India, and afforestation. Atharvaveda House emerged victorious, followed by Samaveda, Rigveda, and Yajurveda Houses.


In addition, a cleanliness drive was organized within the school grounds, highlighting the importance of maintaining a healthy environment. In her closing remarks, Principal Mrs. Neelam Rana stressed that conserving the environment is crucial at this time. She called on all citizens to contribute by saving water, planting more trees, and safeguarding nature for future generations.
