The Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal in Bharmour, led by President Mahinder Patyal, has formally presented a memorandum to Acting Additional District Magistrate Vikas Sharma, outlining critical concerns affecting the area.

The traders' association is calling for immediate action to address issues such as poor road conditions, inadequate parking, sanitation, and other essential services. They highlighted that the Chamba–Bharmour National Highway 154-A and various PWD roads have been in a state of disrepair for an extended period. The presence of potholes and damaged sections not only inconveniences local businesses, residents, and pilgrims but also increases the risk of accidents. Many heavy vehicles are unable to access certain locations due to the deteriorating road conditions.

The memorandum pointed out that during the revered Manimahesh Yatra, which attracts thousands of devotees to Bharmaur, the inadequate road infrastructure poses significant challenges. The traders have urged that repairs on NH-154A and other roads be prioritized before the pilgrimage season begins.

Moreover, the Vyapar Mandal has requested the initiation of a heli-taxi service starting in June to enhance travel options for pilgrims and tourists. They also called for improved parking facilities and other necessary amenities from the local administration.

Prominent members of the Bharmour Vyapar Mandal, including Deshraj Sharma, Tek Chand Sharma, Ranjit Sharma, Kalu Sharma, Sanjay Kapoor, Pyar Sharma, Anil Kumar, and Pawan Kumar, were present during the meeting.
