Bengaluru Woman Allegedly Kills Pet Dog in Disturbing Ritual
Shocking Incident in Bengaluru
A disturbing case has emerged from Bengaluru, leaving the city and animal advocates in disbelief. Reports indicate that a woman is accused of the brutal killing of one of her three pet dogs, with suspicions that the act may be linked to a tantric ritual or black magic. This tragic event has reignited discussions about pet safety and animal rights.
The woman in question, identified as Triparna Payak from West Bengal, resides in the Mahadevpura area of Bengaluru. Allegations suggest that she first strangled her Labrador and then used a knife to slit its throat, all within her apartment. Following this horrific act, she reportedly wrapped the dog's body in cloth, secured the windows and doors, and vanished.
The situation came to light when neighbors reported a foul odor emanating from her flat. Upon investigation by local officials, they discovered the decomposed body of the dog, which had a severe neck wound.
Even more alarming, two other dogs were found alive in the apartment, tightly bound to the wall without access to food or water. Dr. Rudresh Kumar, who filed the complaint, confirmed that both dogs were rescued and are currently receiving care at the BBMP animal hospital. A postmortem examination revealed that the deceased dog had died four days prior.
Inside the apartment, numerous religious artifacts and images of deities were found, raising further concerns that the incident might be connected to a tantric ritual. Authorities are currently investigating whether this act stemmed from mental health issues or was a deliberate ritualistic act.
The police have filed charges against Triparna Payak under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. As of Saturday, she remains at large, and law enforcement is actively searching for her.
