Bengaluru: A shocking incident unfolded when a young man exposed himself to a homemaker, leading to a violent confrontation that left seven individuals injured, including her husband, as reported by local authorities on Wednesday.

The event took place on April 13, with the accused also attacking his own mother after she questioned his actions.

Law enforcement has filed a case at the Shivajinagar police station and is actively searching for the suspect, who fled the scene following the altercation.

The individual has been identified as Karthik, who allegedly unzipped his pants and displayed his genitals to the woman while she was on the second floor of her home.

Living directly across from the victim, he reportedly made inappropriate gestures, suggesting he intended to engage in sexual activity.

Alarmed by his behavior, the woman called for her husband’s assistance.

In a fit of rage, the accused attacked her husband, and when neighbors attempted to intervene, he retaliated violently with hollow blocks, flower pots, and shards of window glass.

He even turned on his mother when she tried to stop him.

Authorities confirmed that seven people were injured during the incident, with three suffering serious injuries and currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit.

Initial investigations indicate that the accused has a history of similar offenses against women.

In a related incident, a viral video surfaced showing a man harassing two young women in a residential area during the early hours. The 17-second clip depicted the man approaching from behind, pushing one woman aside, and sexually assaulting the other before fleeing.

The Karnataka Police have apprehended the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Santosh Daniel, in a village in Kerala.
