Tragic Love Affair Ends in Violence

Bengaluru: Following the shocking Raja Raghuvanshi murder case in Meghalaya, another disturbing incident has emerged from Bengaluru. A software engineer brutally stabbed his married lover 17 times after she became less available due to her husband's suspicions.

This tragic event took place in an OYO hotel situated in Poornaprajna Layout, as reported by local authorities.

The victim, identified as 36-year-old Harini, was involved in an extramarital relationship with the accused, Yashas, who works in the tech industry.

Investigations revealed that Harini, a mother of two, and Yashas met at a fair, exchanged contact information, and their relationship quickly escalated to physical intimacy. However, Harini's husband grew suspicious, took her phone, and restricted her movements.

After several months of limited contact, Harini managed to leave her home and reached out to Yashas. Authorities stated that Yashas, feeling abandoned, became emotionally unstable and decided to take her life. They met on June 6 and went to the hotel together.

Once there, after becoming intimate, Yashas stabbed Harini multiple times before fleeing the scene.

The Subramanyapura police have launched an investigation and apprehended Yashas, who has admitted to the crime, citing Harini's avoidance as his motive. Further details about the case are still unfolding.

Earlier this year, another shocking case involved Suchana Seth, a 39-year-old CEO of an AI startup in Bengaluru, who was arrested for allegedly murdering her son and hiding the body in a suitcase, raising serious concerns about parental violence.

In a separate incident from January 2011, a software engineer named Santosh Sarade took his own life after killing his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter due to personal and professional struggles.

Additionally, in November 2022, a 45-year-old software engineer was arrested for allegedly murdering his two-year-old daughter, claiming financial difficulties as his motive.
