In a disturbing case of domestic violence, a man in Bengaluru is accused of pouring toilet cleaner acid on his wife's face following a heated argument that reportedly stemmed from the volume of music on his mobile device. This alarming event took place on May 19 in the NMH layout area of Sidedahalli, North Bengaluru.

The victim, a 44-year-old beautician, sustained serious injuries to her head and face and is currently recovering in a nearby hospital. Authorities have confirmed that she is now out of danger.

According to police reports, the incident unfolded around 9 PM when the husband, whose name has not been disclosed, allegedly asked his wife for money to purchase alcohol. When she refused, he began to harass her. Although he later managed to secure the funds, he returned home intoxicated and started playing music loudly on his phone. When his wife asked him to lower the volume to avoid disturbing the neighbors, he reportedly refused and verbally assaulted her.

As the argument intensified, the man allegedly fetched a bottle of toilet cleaner acid from the bathroom and poured it over his wife's head and face. Her screams for help alerted nearby residents, who quickly took her to the hospital. The husband fled the scene immediately after the attack.

A case has been filed against him under various legal provisions, including those related to causing grievous harm with acid. Police are actively pursuing the husband, and an investigation is ongoing to uncover all details surrounding this brutal incident.
