Allegations of Abuse and Financial Demands

In a police report, a husband has accused his wife of not maintaining a proper relationship after three years of marriage, demanding Rs 5000 daily for physical intimacy. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

A distressing case has emerged from Bengaluru, where an engineer has reported enduring both mental and physical abuse from his wife, which ultimately led to his job loss.

Srikant, the husband, married in August 2022, claims that his wife's behavior became increasingly erratic post-marriage. He alleges that she demanded Rs 5000 each time before engaging in physical relations, a claim he has documented in his police complaint. Furthermore, Srikant reported that his wife physically assaulted him, causing him significant mental distress.

Job Loss Linked to Wife's Disruptive Behavior

In his complaint, Srikant also mentioned that his wife disrespected his work environment. While he was working remotely, she would intentionally perform distracting dances during video calls with his boss and colleagues, which ultimately led to her termination from her job.

Divorce Demand Met with Financial Threats

When Srikant sought a divorce due to the ongoing abuse, his wife demanded Rs 45 lakh in exchange. She also issued threats, claiming that if he attempted to force her, she would take her own life and blame him for it. This case highlights a troubling trend, as there have been numerous instances where husbands have faced severe mental and physical abuse, leading some to tragic outcomes. The police are currently investigating the situation and will proceed with legal actions as necessary.
