India A Women's Teams Announced for England Tour
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the India A women's teams set to tour England, which will include three T20 matches and three One-Day Internationals against England A later this year. Anushka Sharma, who recently debuted internationally during India's South Africa tour, will lead the T20 squad, with Vrinda Dinesh as her deputy. In the 50-over format, Harleen Deol has been appointed as captain, while Pratika Rawal will serve as vice-captain.
Squad Composition and New Faces
The selected squads feature a blend of emerging talents and players on the fringes of the international scene. G. Kamalini and Vaishnavi Sharma, both of whom have recently played for the senior team, are included in both squads. Jintimani Kalita receives her first call-up to the India A setup for both formats. Additionally, Tanisha Singh has been selected for the ODI squad, and Purvaja Verlekar has made the T20 team. The tour will kick off with the T20 series starting June 20, followed by the ODI series commencing on July 1.

In addition, the BCCI has announced the senior women's squad for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup and the T20I series against England. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the team, with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain.
