Chief Selector's Tenure Decision

On Friday, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia announced that a decision regarding the tenure of men's senior selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar will be made within the next 15 days. He clarified that no specific discussions about individuals occurred during the 95th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. Saikia emphasized that there is still ample time before Agarkar's term concludes next month, stating, 'No discussions were held today regarding any specific individual. We still have 15 days to go, and 15 days is a long time in the world of cricket. We will take a decision, and at the appropriate time, we will let you know about it.'
