Injured Barking Deer Saved by Forest Officials
In Keonjhar, a barking deer sustained injuries following an attack by a dog in Raidiha village, located within the Saharpada area of the Patna forest division, as reported by a forest official on Wednesday.
Upon discovering the injured deer, local residents promptly notified the Forest Department. A rescue team quickly arrived, saved the deer, and transported it to the range office for medical attention from a veterinary doctor, according to Bhupati Sethi, the forest ranger of the Saharpada section.
Sethi mentioned that once the barking deer fully recovers, it will be released back into the reserve forest.
