This win marks Bangladesh's first Test match victory on Australian soil in 23 years, as reported by the Prime Minister's Office. While traveling to Kishoreganj, Prime Minister Rahman received the news of the historic win. After the match, he connected with the players through a video call to commend them on their success and conveyed the congratulations of the Bangladeshi people.
