Bangladesh Cricket Board Reveals ODI Squad

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand. This squad mirrors the team that achieved a 2-1 series victory over Pakistan last month.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz will captain the team, which boasts a formidable pace lineup that includes Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam.

The first two ODIs are set to take place on April 17 and April 20 in Dhaka, with the final match scheduled for April 23 in Chattogram. Notably, five players from the squad—Nahid Rana, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain, and Tanzid Hasan—are currently participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and will join the team on April 12.

Following the ODI series, Bangladesh and New Zealand will face off in a three-match T20I series from April 27 to May 2. New Zealand has already announced their squad for this series, with Ben Lister stepping in as a replacement for the injured Kristian Clarke.
