Bahra University and Government PG College Solan Collaborate for Student Development
Science Students Experience Campus Exposure Visit
Waknaghat, Solan: In a notable advancement for academic growth and student engagement, Bahra University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government PG College Solan. This partnership aims to enhance collaboration in areas such as research, faculty engagement, skill enhancement, and career development.
As part of this initiative, final-year Science students from Government PG College Solan took part in a one-day academic exposure program at Bahra University. This visit provided students with practical experience in cutting-edge laboratories, innovation hubs, and modern campus facilities, along with career guidance sessions and opportunities to interact with faculty members.
Prof. R. P. Nainta, Vice Chancellor of Bahra University, stated that such partnerships are vital for comprehensive student development, linking theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Mr. Vineet Kumar (Ex-IFS), the Registrar, noted the university's ongoing collaborations with government colleges throughout Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing that exposure visits, workshops, and academic exchanges are instrumental in helping students gain confidence and practical skills.
Prof. Maneesha Kohli, Principal of Government PG College Solan, expressed her appreciation for Bahra University's unwavering support, mentioning that these initiatives expand students' horizons and motivate them to pursue advanced education and research opportunities.
Faculty members, including Dr. Vikas Guleria and Mr. Anurag Avasthi, Director of Student Welfare, also engaged with the visiting students, urging them to take full advantage of these opportunities for their academic and professional development.
