Passenger Leaves Bag in Auto

On November 18, a man named Rohit Vishwakarma traveled from Mumbai to Indore by bus. He boarded an auto rickshaw driven by Mohammad Salim at the Three Imli Square. Unfortunately, after reaching his destination, he forgot to take his bag with him, and the driver did not notice it either.

Contents of the Bag

The bag contained valuable gold jewelry, important documents, and medications. Rohit spent the entire day searching for his lost bag throughout the city but found no trace of it or the auto driver. Just when he had almost given up hope, he received a call from the police that left him in disbelief.

How the Bag Was Recovered

Rohit had already filed a report about his missing bag with the police. Meanwhile, the bag was found by the police late Thursday night, but interestingly, it was not the police who discovered it; the auto driver himself returned it to the authorities. After finishing his work, Mohammad Salim found the bag in his vehicle and decided to hand it over to the local police station in Azad Nagar.

Driver's Integrity

Mohammad Salim, a 50-year-old auto driver, stated that he did not even open the bag. He mentioned that he had dropped off several passengers that day and could not recall who the bag belonged to, so he chose to turn it in to the police. He expressed his happiness that the bag was returned to its rightful owner and hoped to continue on the path of honesty.
