Prayagraj/Kausambi, March 8, 2026: A shocking incident has once again stirred the religious and legal communities in Uttar Pradesh. Ashutosh Brahmachari, the main plaintiff in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case and a prominent figure, faced a life-threatening attack on a moving train early Sunday morning around 5 AM.


Details of the Attack Ashutosh Brahmachari was traveling on the Rewa Express from Ghaziabad to Prayagraj when the attack occurred between Fatehpur and Sirathu railway stations in Kaushambi district. An unidentified assailant attacked him with a sharp weapon in the AC coach (H-1), attempting to sever his nose and inflicting multiple wounds on his face and hands. Blood began to flow, and his condition became critical.


Despite the severity of the situation, Ashutosh did not lose hope. He managed to fight off the attacker and locked himself inside the train's bathroom, which became his sanctuary. He quickly contacted the GRP control room for assistance. Upon arrival in Prayagraj, he disembarked in a bloodied state and is currently receiving treatment at Colvin Hospital. He has also filed a written complaint with the Prayagraj GRP.


Allegations by Ashutosh In his complaint, Ashutosh Brahmachari alleges that the attack was premeditated and may involve a conspiracy linked to Swami Avimukteshwaranand, as he had previously filed a case against him regarding the sexual exploitation of minors. He has labeled it a 'Hindu conspiracy' and is demanding an investigation.


Police Investigation The Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case and initiated an investigation. The identity of the attacker remains unknown, and efforts are underway to gather clues from CCTV footage and witness statements.
