Guwahati, Jan 3: Kabeer Nath, a talented footballer from Assam, has concluded his season on a high note in the Andorra Primera Division. He has earned a spot among the league's top 11 players and scored in his team's final match before the Christmas break.
Playing for CE Carroi, Kabeer netted a goal during a 3-1 victory in the season's last game, showcasing his remarkable performance throughout the league.
The young midfielder hails from a family of doctors, Kalpajit Nath and Geeta Baruah Nath, and although he has roots in Assam, he was raised in Gurugram, where his football career took off.
Kabeer received his initial training at the Brazilian International Football Academy in Gurugram and gained valuable international experience between the ages of seven and 14, participating in events like the Royal Selangor Cup in Malaysia and the JSSL Tournament hosted by Arsenal in Singapore.
His journey took a significant leap when he relocated to Spain, where he competed in various prestigious youth tournaments, including the Mediterranean International Cup, where he achieved a remarkable hat trick. He was also part of the Liga Primera Juvenil Cambrils Club, which clinched the championship in both the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
Kabeer's recent accolade in Andorra represents yet another important achievement, adding to his impressive list of accomplishments as an Assamese footballer making waves on the European football scene.
