Preparations for Prime Minister Modi's Visit to Assam
On Wednesday, Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma chaired a meeting in Guwahati to assess the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to the state, scheduled for December 20.
Sarma expressed optimism, stating that the Prime Minister's visit would usher in a 'new wave of development' for Assam. In a post on social media platform 'X', he mentioned, “Assam is fully prepared to welcome Narendra Modi on December 20, as he will bring a new wave of development to the state.”
The Chief Minister also reviewed the arrangements for the key events planned during Modi's visit.
