Sarma emphasized the urgency of removing Banerjee from power to prevent further loss of Bengal. He claimed that the BJP governments in Assam and Tripura have effectively curbed such infiltrations, contrasting this with the situation in Bengal. Allegations Against West Bengal's Leadership

On Saturday, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam, accused the West Bengal government, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, of allocating state resources to 'Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators.' He emphasized the need to remove her from power, warning that otherwise, they risk losing Bengal.

Speaking at a rally in Kalimpong, the BJP leader asserted that the governments of Assam and Tripura have successfully prevented 'Bangladeshi Muslims' from entering India, while illegal immigration continues unabated in Bengal.

Sarma stated, 'Mamata Banerjee has reserved the entire treasury of Bengal for Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators. She has sold this land to them for votes.' He further claimed that Banerjee has devastated Bengal since taking office.

He warned, 'We must oust Mamata Banerjee from the Chief Minister's position, or one day, Bangladeshi Muslims will take this state from us.'

The BJP leader also mentioned that there has been no development in North Bengal during Banerjee's tenure. He promised that once the BJP forms a government in Bengal, they would expel all Bangladeshi infiltrators from the region.

Sarma added that the BJP would seek a constitutional resolution to the Gorkhaland issue and ensure justice for the Gorkhas.

While addressing another rally in Dinhata, Cooch Behar district, he noted that the Trinamool Congress had filed a complaint against him with the Election Commission, accusing him of making 'communal, inflammatory, and divisive' remarks against the West Bengal Chief Minister.

He asserted that he would not be intimidated by the Trinamool Congress's actions. Sarma also referenced an attempt by Humayun Kabir, a former Trinamool Congress leader and founder of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP), to construct a mosque in West Bengal reminiscent of the Babri Masjid, stating that had such an attempt occurred in Assam, he would have taken strict action and imprisoned those involved.
