Ashish Butail Unveils ₹44.5 Million Development Initiatives in Bindravan Ward

In a significant move for local development, Ashish Butail, the MLA of Palampur, inaugurated three major projects worth ₹44.5 million in Bindravan Ward. These initiatives include the Shiv Temple Bharun–Anganwadi Road, a new road from Tuni da Tiyala to Fared, and the Loharl Community Building. Butail emphasized ongoing projects worth ₹12 billion and announced plans for a park and an artificial lake to boost tourism. Major Development Projects Launched

Palampur

Today, Ashish Butail, the MLA of Palampur, inaugurated three significant development projects totaling ₹44.5 million in Bindravan Ward No. 7 of the Municipal Corporation.


Projects Inaugurated:



  • Shiv Temple Bharun–Anganwadi Road (₹16 million)

  • Road from Tuni da Tiyala to Fared (₹11.5 million)

  • Loharl Community Building (₹17 million)


Commitment to Local Development

During his address, Butail reassured attendees that financial constraints would not impede the development of Palampur, highlighting ongoing projects worth ₹12 billion across the constituency.


In response to community needs, he announced the installation of 20 solar lights along the Bharun roadside and the completion of the remaining construction at the Shiv Temple. Additionally, he revealed a grant of ₹15,000 for each of three women’s self-help groups to promote empowerment.


Vision for Bindravan Ward

Butail expressed his vision for Bindravan Ward to evolve into a model area featuring tourism and modern facilities. He outlined future projects, including:



  • A park with a budget of ₹40 million

  • An artificial lake costing ₹10 million


These developments are expected to attract local residents and enhance the area’s appeal.


Addressing Local Concerns

The MLA also committed to resolving the issue of stray cattle by relocating them to Khalti Gaushala in phases. He announced that the Municipal Corporation would initiate a vaccination and sterilization program for dogs in the city. Furthermore, he instructed an increase in transformer capacity in Loharad to mitigate future power issues.
