Asaduddin Owaisi Labels Pakistan as Aggressor During Bahrain Visit

Owaisi's Strong Remarks on Pakistan

During a recent diplomatic mission in Bahrain, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, part of a multi-party delegation, criticized Pakistan, asserting it is an "aggressor" rather than a "victim."

Owaisi stated, "Pakistan is an aggressor and not a victim. In our discussions today, we presented India's perspective, highlighting that for years, terrorists supported and trained by Pakistan have executed numerous attacks in India, resulting in significant loss of life. We provided comprehensive data on incidents such as the Mumbai blasts, train bombings, the suicide attack near the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, the Pulwama attack, and the Pathankot incident."

Concerns Over Regional Stability

He further emphasized to the Bahraini government that attempts to destabilize India are detrimental, not only for the country but also for South Asia as a whole. Owaisi noted that many Indians reside in Bahrain, and the government acknowledged the significant contributions made by the Indian community.

BJP's Expectations from Bahrain

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey expressed confidence that Bahrain would support India in two key areas: within the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), where Bahrain does not align with Pakistan and Turkey, and at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Owaisi is part of a delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, which includes several other prominent members.

Earlier in the day, the delegation met with Abdul Nabi Salman, the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, as part of their efforts to reinforce India's unified stance against terrorism.
