Their remarkable partnership has secured their place in the record books, marking the third instance of a 150-plus stand for PBKS in IPL history.

The record for the highest partnership for PBKS stands at 206 runs, achieved by Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh against RCB in 2011. Following that, KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal set a record with 183 runs against RR in 2020. Arya and Connolly's impressive 182-run partnership against LSG in 2026 now joins this elite list.

This partnership also ranks as the fourth-highest run-rate for a 100-plus stand for PBKS. The record is held by David Miller and R Sathish, who had a blistering 130* stand at a run-rate of 15.91 in 2013.
