The national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, expressed his admiration for the bravery of young protesters during demonstrations against the NEET exam paper leak on Thursday. He noted that their resistance against police actions has awakened the nation. Sharing a video, he highlighted the police's response, which included baton charges and the use of tear gas. In a post on X, Kejriwal stated, 'First and foremost, I salute Gen Z; I salute the youth of our country. The way you faced the police, batons, and tear gas in this 'Cockroach Movement' is no small feat. The country was asleep, people were frightened, and the Modi government had instilled fear in them. Legal Proceedings Regarding NEET Paper Leak
Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has agreed to hear a public interest litigation (PIL) demanding an investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the 'March to Parliament' protests that occurred on July 20 concerning the alleged NEET paper leak.
The petition calls for all FIRs registered by the Delhi police related to this incident to be handed over to a special investigation agency, and for action to be taken against those allegedly involved in the violence.
