Kejriwal Questions SIT's Integrity

On Thursday, Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), targeted the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged misappropriation of funds related to the Ayodhya Ram Temple. He labeled the investigation as a "fraud" and accused it of being an attempt to cover up the involvement of influential individuals. During his visit to Lucknow, Kejriwal asserted that the SIT lacks the authority to conduct a fair investigation. He stated to reporters, "This SIT has no power to investigate, so in the eyes of the public, it is merely a deception. It is an attempt to suppress the entire issue, and the sole purpose of the SIT is to protect powerful people."

Concerns Over Allegations of Theft

Expressing his sorrow over the allegations of theft from the temple's treasury, Kejriwal conveyed his deep disappointment regarding reports of missing donations. He remarked, "I am very saddened by the news surrounding the Shri Ram Temple. Precious gems and jewelry offered to God have reportedly been stolen. It is said that cash amounting to up to 200 crores has gone missing. Even 200 kilograms of silver that was donated has been stolen. My heart is very heavy."

Kejriwal's Upcoming Visit to Ayodhya

Kejriwal also announced plans to visit Ayodhya on Friday to assess the situation and engage in discussions with religious leaders. He mentioned, "I am heading to Ayodhya tomorrow. After that, I will visit Hanumangarhi, where I will meet with some saints to discuss this matter in detail. I have just arrived here."
