Arrest of Baba Siddique Murder Mastermind in Canada: Extradition Underway

Major Development in Baba Siddique Murder Investigation
Baba Siddique Murder Case: A significant advancement has occurred in the investigation of NCP MLA Baba Siddique's murder, with the arrest of the alleged mastermind in Canada. Zeeshan Akhtar, also referred to as Jassi or Yasin Akhtar, has been detained by local law enforcement. Baba Siddique was fatally shot on October 12, 2024, outside his son's office in Bandra. Authorities are now focused on facilitating Akhtar's return to India for further inquiries and legal action. Reports suggest that the brother-in-law of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi may also have played a role in the assassination of the NCP leader.
Further investigations indicate that the murder was orchestrated by Lawrence Bishnoi, with motives tied to Baba's close association with Bollywood star Salman Khan. It is alleged that this connection led to Baba being targeted. Initial arrests in the case have revealed connections to the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, with a total of 26 individuals apprehended so far, including the primary shooter Shiv Kumar Gautam and Anmol Bishnoi.
Additionally, it has come to light that Lawrence had plotted a shooting incident at the residence of singer AP Dhillon in Canada. Following Baba's tragic death, his son Zeeshan Siddique has reportedly received multiple threats.
Sources have confirmed that the extradition process for Zeeshan Akhtar has commenced, and he is expected to be brought back to India shortly. Authorities are closely observing the situation, with more updates anticipated.
